Yes, the fit kit # TH84JV does replace the Thule KIT4080. This will work with the AeroBlade Crossbars when paired with Evo Flush Rail or Edge Flush Rail feet. It is confirmed to fit the 2019 Land Rover Discovery. view full answer...
I can definitely help you get a brake controller installed on your 2020 Land Rover Discovery, but it might be a little more difficult simply because none of our brake controller manufacturers have a pigtail fitment confirmed for under the dash, and I wasn't able to find an online copy of the owner's manual to see if one even exists - this is why we have tee-in fitments listed like the Curt Echo In-Line # C79DR.
If you can confirm that you have a pigtail underneath the dash on your driver's... view full answer...
That is correct. If your 2020 Land Rover Discovery has the full sized spare it would have to be left off to install the Stealth Hitch part # SH97GR. One option would be to track down a smaller spare. view full answer...
I spoke with Dometic and they didn't think the the chirp was coming from the rooftop unit of your # AT15027-22. I recommend removing the shroud and ensuring the compressor and all other parts are completely tightened down and there's not debris possibly in the unit. You should also have a licensed technician check the Freon levels because either too low or too high Freon levels will cause different noises. view full answer...
You will have absolutely no issues fitting the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Roof Cargo Box # Y95AV to the factory roof rack on your 2020 Land Rover Discovery. Not only will it fit the crossbars, but you will also have enough clearance to open up your rear hatch, and the box won't make contact with the antenna on your roof. view full answer...
You are correct in looking at the Curt Ball Mount w/ Sway Control Tab for 2" Hitches # D320. The hitch rating on the trailer is a class IV rating as a maximum. The ball mount you see is still within the maximum weight of your Keystone Premier Ultra Bullet so you will be fine. This also will give you the closest possible fit for your tow ball height requirement by Land Rover. For the ball use 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 1" Diameter # C40007. It has the 1" diameter shank that you need for the ball... view full answer...
Unfortunately, we do not offer anything that would plug into the connector you've shown. Your best bet would be to use the # 119178KIT you referred to and tap into the existing taillight circuits. You'll want to access the taillight wiring harness and use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to identify which wire carries which circuit. The red wire taps into the brake lamp circuit, the green into the right turn, the yellow into the left turn and the brown into the taillight circuit. The white... view full answer...
We have exactly what you're looking for, part # 118710. This adapter will plug into the existing European-style 7-pin and convert it to a US spec 4-pole trailer connector. view full answer...
The installation of a trailer hitch on the 2018 Land Rover Discovery HSE will not have any impact on the installation of a brake controller so no worries there!
I would recommend an aftermarket hitch but there does not appear to be one for that vehicle, which seems odd. If it turns out that they cannot install an in cab brake controller we do have the new Autowbrake # 3430001 which installs just on the trailer and only needs a functioning 7-Way trailer connector to operate. I have linked... view full answer...
I understand your concern that some newer vehicles have to recognize that a trailer is plugged into the connector in order for the towing functions to activate. When a trailer has LED lights the power draw is very low, but that's one advantage of LED lights. However since the power draw is so low the vehicle doesn't recognize the trailer and therefore doesn't turn on the towing features.
Another cause could be that the 2017 Land Rover Discovery recognizes the lights being on the circuit... view full answer...

The Thule Roof Mounted Cargo basket will fit on Yakima round-style cross bars. Just make sure the cross bars are between 20 inches and 37 inches.
The outside dimension of the basket is 49 x 40 x 6 so make sure you like the size for the roof of your Discovery. view full answer...
I went out to the warehouse and pulled a Blue Ox 4-Wire, Coiled Electrical Cord with 4-Way, Round Plugs, # BX8861, to take some measurements for you. When coiled up, from end to end it measures about 38 inches long. When stretched out to the maximum it measures 176 inches. However, ideally you would keep the cable only stretched to around 7 feet to avoid the harness coming unplug or damaged. The harness will coil back up after being stretched. view full answer...
The great thing about weight distribution systems is that the weight of them does not get considered as additional tongue weight. Our manufacturers have fielded this question from us several times and their stance is that the WD system essentially becomes part of the hitch so you would not consider it's weight as additional tongue weight.
We have the Reese system part # RP66541 which weighs 74 lbs and has a tongue weight range of 400 to 800 lbs like what would work well on your trailer.

There is one bike rack which can work for for you, as it has the maximum capacity of 80 lbs per bike (160 lbs total for a 2-bike rack), which is from Hollywood Racks:
- Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # HLY84FR
I assume your bikes are electric bikes since they have that much weight, so what you'll need to do is remove the batteries to get them under 81 lbs and meet the 80 lb weight limit. This is the only rack with that much capacity so it is going to be... view full answer...
Is there any way you could reposition the 7-way? That would be the easiest way to use the Curt Mobile Echo part # C51180. We also have an under dash version of this brake controller with the part # C27JR which might be an easier option for you but this would require hardwiring to the vehicle. view full answer...

Do not exceed 30 mph when using chains on this vehicle. view full answer...
There isn't a safe way to raise the height of a LockRack kayak carrier like # LR54FR. It might be best to go with a taller carrier or a J-style which would hold the kayaks at angle and would raise up the rear end of the kayak and give you the clearance like with the part # TH849000. view full answer...
The Curt Spectrum Trailer Brake Controller part # C51170 can be installed on your 2020 Land Rover Discovery.
